Minor Hotels has entered a management contract with Trading Construction Works Organisation to operate an Avani+ Hanoi property in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The deal marks the hospitality operator’s debut in the nation’s capital.

Minor Hotels chief development and luxury officer Omar Romero said: “This is our first branded hotel in a major Vietnamese city, and the central Bach Mai Ward is the right place to start.
“Avani+ Hanoi’s prime location gives us a genuine hub in the capital, with strong appeal to both business and leisure travellers seeking a well-connected urban base.”
Slated to launch in 2028, the 310-key hotel will be situated in the city’s Bach Mai Ward as part of a wider mixed-use development.
The hotel property will feature corporate meeting and function facilities, an indoor swimming pool with a deck, and a fitness centre.
It will also offer several food and beverage outlets, including all-day dining and speciality restaurants.
The development is positioned to accommodate corporate travellers, extended-stay visitors, and leisure guests.
Avani+ Hanoi property expands Minor Hotels’ metropolitan footprint in Vietnam, where the company currently operates four sites.
The portfolio includes properties under Anantara and Avani brands, as well as luxury railway carriages operated under The Vietage by Anantara.
Earlier this month, Minor Hotels unveiled its plan to open Avani Cypress Lakes Resort in Hunter Valley in Australia.
