Travel technology company Mondee has launched personal AI travel assistant Abhi.
The technology uses the company’s proprietary AI platform as well as multiple AI engines, such as Google Bard, OpenAI/ChatGPT and IBM Watson.
It is integrated into the Mondee Travel Marketplace, which provides a collection of global travel options with AI-embedded collaborative curation across air, hotel and vacation rental accommodations, ground transportation, cruises, tours, packages, activities and events.
In combination with Abhi, users have access to curation capability that saves time by allowing them to book more hyper-local and personalised experiences.
Abhi can reportedly engage in conversations, understand complex queries and offer comprehensive responses, as well as create personalised travel guides based on users’ interests.
Mondee founder and CEO Prasad Gundumogula commented: “We are providing travel influencers, local experts and agents with complete travel content in our unified Marketplace, as well Abhi, to create and deliver personalised travel experiences.”
