Under the agreement, Nammos Hotels & Resorts will roll out its lifestyle concept through a mixed-use site that will bring together a resort, branded residences, dining, retail and wellness facilities.
The project is planned to include 117 keys in total, comprising 47 hotel suites, 61 branded residences and nine branded villas.
According to a statement, Nammos Village, positioned at the centre of the scheme, is intended to “reinterpret the traditional Mediterranean village” as a modern setting for “discovery, connection, art, shopping and well-being”.
Food and beverage options will include Nalu, an all-day dining venue focused on fresh Mediterranean dishes.
It will also feature the Ilios Lounge, while a rooftop pool bar will offer light snacks and signature drinks.
The statement added that the on-site Nammos Restaurant will welcome guests throughout the 2026 season and offer an “early preview” of the destination.
The initial phase of the masterplan, Nammos Resort Montenegro, is expected to open in 2029.
Nammos chairman Petros Stathis said: “Our partnership with Smokva Bay represents an exciting new chapter in the evolution of Nammos Hotels & Resorts.
“Having invested in Montenegro for many years, I have always believed in its extraordinary potential as one of the Mediterranean’s most compelling luxury destinations.
“Together, we are creating far more than a resort — we are creating a destination that embodies the spirit, energy and sophistication that define Nammos while celebrating the remarkable character of Montenegro.”
