Crowne Plaza, a brand owned by IHG Hotels and Resorts, is set to debut its flagship property in Fiji towards the end of this year.
IHG has signed an agreement with Wailoaloa Hotel for the opening of Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort and Spa. The addition of the hotel will increase IHG’s footprint in Fiji to five hotels.
Wailoaloa Hotel CEO Jay Singh said: “We are excited to work with IHG to bring the Crowne Plaza brand to Fiji and are passionate about creating a brand-new destination for travellers to Nadi, with a thriving food, beverage, spa, conferencing and lifestyle precinct along this special stretch of beachfront in Nadi.”
Pullman Nadi Bay will be rebranded to Crowne Plaza, following a multimillion-dollar renovation and extension led by interior design company P49 Deesign.
The existing 324 rooms will be remodelled, including new two-bedroom family rooms and oceanfront king suites.
Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort and Spa will have a new day spa with six double treatment rooms. Additionally, the hotel will feature a new 600-seat convention centre which will expand the hotel’s existing conferencing space.
