The Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel, located in Alberta, Canada, is all set to undergo a multi-million dollar renovation, creating more meeting space and an upscale lounge.
Scheduled for completion in Spring 2015, the 384-room hotel will encompass fresh enhancements to the guest rooms, meeting space, lobby, restaurant/bar and concierge lounge. The renovation will dovetail with the property’s 40th anniversary.
Four rooms will be added, under transformation, as well as 4,000ft² of meeting space when the renovation is complete, offering 7,075ft² of overall meeting space.
Speaking about the renovation hotel’s general manager Joseph Clohessy said: "These ground-breaking enhancements will keep our property at the forefront of the competitive hotel market in Calgary.
"More importantly, these changes will contribute significantly to helping the city be a leading destination for travellers seeking to achieve their personal and professional goals."
