US-based hospitality company Choice Hotels International has signed an agreement with full-service real estate firm Stratus Development Partners to build a new Cambria hotel and suites in Sonoma County, California.
Located at 5870 Labath Avenue in Rohnert Park, US, the new Cambria hotel and suites will have four storeys with 132 rooms.
Choice Hotels Upscale Brands senior vice-president Janis Cannon said: “Sonoma County's popularity continues to grow as the region welcomes more than 7.5 million visitors annually for both business and leisure, making it an ideal fit for Cambria hotels and suites.
“Cambria looks forward to expanding into key markets like Sonoma and throughout California, with future openings in Los Angeles and Anaheim.”
The Sonoma County Cambria property, which is expected to open in 2019, is situated in the heart of ‘wine country’ and is next to Napa Valley, in California, the US.
Stratus Development Partners Andrew Wood said: “We couldn't be more excited to partner with Choice Hotels to develop the Cambria Sonoma County.
“Sonoma continues to grow, and its location just 45 minutes north of San Francisco means travellers will find an upscale home for both business and pleasure in Cambria's newest property.”
The new Cambria hotel and suites will feature a meeting space, an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, restaurant and lounge.
The property is located near Rohnert Park's major companies, like Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital, St. Joseph Health and Keysight Technologies, thereby offering a convenient location for business travellers.
