DoubleTree by Hilton, a unit of Hilton Worldwide, has opened a new property in downtown St Augustine, US, following a complete redesign and renovation.
Formerly occupied by Ramada Inn, the five-storey DoubleTree by Hilton St Augustine Historic District, is located at 116 San Marco Avenue, St Augustine, Florida, and is in proximity to the Jacksonville International Airport.
The 97-room hotel is owned by 116 San Marco LLC and managed by Summit Hospitality Management. It is the brand’s first property in the greater Jacksonville area.
Modern luxuries complement old-world Spanish design features at the property, including wrought iron, distressed brick-look arches, warm, earthy colour tones and artwork depicting iconic St Augustine scenery.
DoubleTree by Hilton St Augustine Historic District features 2,700ft² of versatile meeting and event space, luxurious Anastasia Ballroom, Oak Room restaurant and lounge.
Complimentary services and amenities include a 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor heated swimming pool surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, a 24-hour business centre, parking and WiFi access throughout the hotel’s public spaces and guest rooms.
