Hard Rock International has announced plans to expand its portfolio with three new hotels in Brazil.
The upcoming hotels include Hard Rock Hotel Brasilia, Hard Rock Hotel Caldas Novas and Hard Rock Hotel Itapema.
Hard Rock International global hotel development executive vice president Marco Roca said: "As the host of the 2014 World Cup and the upcoming 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has officially entered the world stage, seeing an increased appeal in international travellers, while its natural and cultural attractions continue to be a driving force for domestic travel.
"Brazilians have always been great fans of the Hard Rock brand and we could not be more excited to announce Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos entrance into the country, whose famed lively culture is in tune with our brand."
The first Hard Rock Hotel in Brazil, Hard Rock Hotel Brasilia is slated to be part of a major commercial expansion of Brasilia Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport.
Developed with VCI Holding, the 400-room property will feature a pool and deck, more than 17,000ft2 of event space, a signature restaurant and rooftop entertainment lounge, and a spa and fitness centre.

By GlobalDataHard Rock Hotel Caldas Novas will be a 12-storey structure offering 303 rooms, six thermal pools, three restaurants, a helipad and a nightclub.
Located in the south of Brazil, Hard Rock Hotel Itapema will have 175 rooms, and is scheduled for completion in 2017.
Last month, Hard Rock International opened its second hotel and casino in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Hard Rock International owns 23 hotels and 11 casinos across Bali, Ibiza, San Diego and Singapore.
