Hilton Hotels & Resorts has strengthened its foothold in China with the launch of a new hotel, the Hilton Foshan, in the southern province of Guangdong.
Located in the Chancheng District of Foshan, the 27-storey, 600-room hotel is operated by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Country Garden Real Estate Development.
Hilton Foshan is situated next to the city’s Central Business District and is close to Shunde Pier, which has regular ferry boats to Hong Kong.
Hilton Hotel & Resorts global head Rob Palleschi noted that Foshan is the third largest city in Guangdong, amd an important manufacturing hub in south China.
"We are committed to furthering our success throughout the country and look forward to serving a variety of travellers visiting this important Chinese business hub," Palleschi added.
Hilton Foshan features five food and beverage outlets, including Yuxi Restaurant, which serves Cantonese cuisine; Yuu, which offers Japanese cuisine; and OPEN Foshan, which serves other local and international food and beverages.
The property also features a bar and a lobby lounge.
Amenities at the hotel include Hilton serenity beds, Wi-Fi access and an all-day fitness centre equipped with cardiovascular and strength training equipment.
Additionally, Hilton Foshan features a heated indoor and two outdoor swimming pools as well as a spa centre with single or double treatment and foot massage rooms.
