InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is continuing its regional expansion in Honduras with the opening of its fifth property in the country, a Holiday Inn Express hotel in Tegucigalpa.

Owned and managed by Latin American Hospitality Management, the 108-room hotel is also the second IHG property in Tegucigalpa, following the debut of the Real InterContinental Tegucigalpa.

Located in the city’s new financial district, Plaza San Rafael, the new property is in close proximity to country’s major financial institutions, including BAC Honduras, Banco Davivienda and BCIE (Central American Bank for Economic Integration).

It features a 24hr fitness centre, an outdoor pool, a business centre, and Great Room lounge area.
