Marriott International has expanded its presence in China with the launch of the new Jixian Marriott Hotel in the Tianjin region.
The new hotel, which has increased the group’s total number of properties under its Marriott Hotels brand in China to 16, was opened under a long-term management agreement with Saint Light Investment Group.

Jixian Marriott Hotel is situated in close proximity to the region’s leisure travel attractions including the Pan Mountain, Great Wall, golf courses, ski parks and natural parks.

The new hotel has 282 guestrooms including eight suites and eight villas featuring luxurious furnishing and amenities, while offering picturesque views of Jixian resort area.

Amenities at the hotel include 1,900m² of meeting space with one ballroom, one junior ballroom and eight function rooms, all of which have meeting facilities and technologies.

The new hotel is said to be the first low carbon emission hotel in China. It is equipped with a carbon footprint recording system and has been awarded the three-star certificate of green building design by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China.
