San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront has completed a renovation of its 688 guest rooms and suites to meet the evolving preferences of its guests.
Under the $18m project, the new rooms have been designed to display a bayside location, while providing a contemporary style desired by travellers.
Key features of the renovated rooms and suites include a chic design, cool colour palette and large picture windows. The hotel also has rooms with streamlined chaise lounges, modular furniture with flexible seating and tabletops that enable guests to personalise the room.
San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront general manager Clifton Clark said: "Today’s travellers are seeking sophisticated and stylish design that offers flexibility to personalise the guest room.
"To respond in real-time to the ever-fluid needs of travellers, we turned to our guests and Marriott’s Innovation Lab to reimagine our guest room experience."
Renovated by Baskervill, the rooms include remodelled bathrooms offering sliding doors, walk-in showers with water-efficient rainfall heads, Thann natural skincare products and upgraded fixtures.
