Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has collaborated with Chilean business conglomerate Phoenix Enterprises for The Westin La Quinta Golf & Spa resort that is set to open in Spain in March 2016.

The 172-room hotel will bring back Starwood’s Westin brand to Benahavis.

Located at the heart of Benahavis’ golf valley, the resort is situated close to the Mediterranean coastline, famous nightclubs, boutiques and bars.

It is also in proximity to local attractions such as ninth-century Arab fortress, Puerto Banús marina, and the Encarnation’s Church.

The hotel includes five suites and one presidential suite overlooking the sea, gardens and golf course.

Guests will be able to make use of WestinWORKOUT studio, outdoor pool and 1,500m² Heavenly Spa.

It will also feature 800m² of event space which includes a ballroom, three meeting rooms, as well as a 24-hour business centre. Guests can enjoy SuperFoodsRx and Mediterranean menus from the dining venues.

For golf lovers, the resort offers a 27-hole championship course, which is accompanied by a driving range, putting green, and a Club House with a bar and a restaurant.
