Hospitality and entertainment giants Lion Star, Everest Place and Paramount have announced a partnership to develop Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Orlando in Florida, US. 

Set to open in 2026, the resort will be located within the Everest Place development in Kissimmee and managed by Lion Star Hospitality, the US licensee for Karisma Hotels & Resorts.

The new resort will offer 400 hotel rooms and condo units.

Guest rooms will be themed after popular Nickelodeon characters, catering to families with young children.

The resort will combine luxury amenities with family-friendly activities and character interactions featuring SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol, Dora the Explorer and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

“We are setting a new standard for family vacations by offering immersive experiences with innovative accommodation options,” said Mario Mathieu, a senior executive at Karisma Hotels & Resorts, in a statement.

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Orlando goes beyond traditional hotel stays.

Guests can dine at character-themed restaurants such as Le Spatula, inspired by SpongeBob, and Mikey’s Pizzeria (named after a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character). The Snick Lounge will offer relaxation and entertainment with games, sports broadcasts, live music and the iconic Big Orange Couch.

The resort will feature the Aqua Nick water park, and supervised activities for children will be available at Club Nick.

Guests can find character merchandise at on-site Nickelodeon retail stores.

The development offers condo ownership opportunities alongside hotel stays.

Studios and two-bedroom condo units will be available for purchase, with full access to all resort amenities including Nickelodeon experiences.

Situated within the Everest Place complex, the resort offers convenient access to a variety of amenities including shops and a medical centre.

Kissimmee offers a blend of natural beauty and world-class attractions, from theme parks to scenic Lake Tohopekaliga. Visitors can explore Old Town with its shops, restaurants and classic car shows.
