OCVIBE has revealed the design details for SENA, a 300-plus-key hotel slated to become the first property under Marriott’s Autograph Collection brand in Anaheim, California.
The property forms a central component of OCVIBE, a privately funded 100-acre real estate district surrounding Honda Centre.

Scheduled to open in 2029, the building’s exterior and landscape architecture were produced by WATG (Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo), incorporating influences from the Santa Ana River and regional daylight conditions.
Rockwell Group is responsible for the interior architecture.
Operations across the guest accommodation, meeting facilities, and food and beverage venues will be managed by Sage Hospitality Group.
On-site amenities include a signature restaurant run by Chef José Andrés, complemented by an indoor-outdoor bar, a circular lobby bar positioned toward South Plaza and Honda Center, and a swimming pool area fitted with cabanas, fire elements, landscaping, and audio facilities.
While tied to the Marriott Bonvoy reservation and loyalty platform, the hotel has been planned as an independent concept linked to OCVIBE’s cultural and sports programming.
The project sits within a masterplan designed to convert land surrounding the indoor arena into a pedestrianised commercial and residential area.
Across its full build-out, OCVIBE is scheduled to feature three live entertainment venues, more than 2,000 homes, office premises, over 35 food and beverage outlets, 20 acres of civic space and parkland, and three miles of pedestrian paths containing public art.
The mixed-use site is being delivered in phases.
The first phase, comprising office accommodation, a market hall, and a concert venue, is timetabled to open in 2027, followed by SENA in 2029.
OCVIBE development executive director Dan Young said: “Bringing together Marriott’s Autograph Collection, Rockwell Group, José Andrés Group, and Sage Hospitality Group gives us the opportunity to create a hotel experience unlike anything else in Orange County.
“SENA will be both a destination in its own right and a front door to everything OCVIBE is becoming – a place where exceptional design, dining, hospitality, and live experiences come together.”
