Travel technology company OYO is set to launch a dedicated app for its premium hotels and mid-market to premium company-serviced hotels.

As per documents accessed by ET Travelworld, the app will initially showcase OYO’s India-based premium hotels and vacation homes, with plans to later include its global portfolio.

Expected to go live within the next two to three months, the platform is set to integrate OYO’s premium properties and its company-serviced hotel portfolio.

The launch of the new app reflects the company’s shift from a budget-focused provider to a multi-segment hospitality platform to offer curated experiences tailored to the preferences of modern travellers.

The technological infrastructure of the new platform will use OYO’s investments in AI and machine learning to enable features such as “seamless” property selection, personalised guest recommendations, and “dynamic” pricing strategies.

OYO’s SUNDAY brand, catering to the four-star and five-star market segment, was launched in May 2023 through a joint venture between SoftBank Group and OYO’s parent company Oravel Stays.
