OYO Hotels & Homes has linked its first group of hotels in the UK to Sabre‘s SynXis Central Reservations System, after a global partnership was signed between OYO and software and technology provider Sabre.
Over 80 OYO hotels in the UK are now linked to all major GDSs through Sabre’s hospitality solutions.
These hotels represent over 2,500 rooms.
Besides direct channels, SynXis Central Reservations optimises global distribution channels. Through direct connections and switch partners, it allows scale and operational efficiency by offering rates and inventory to all major GDS systems and online travel agencies (OTAs).
Due to the addition of OYO hotels to SynXis Platform, hotels can be booked through Sabre’s own GDS as well as others, corporates, travel management companies, and around 900,000 travel agents and tour operators across the world.
This increases the distribution channels and revenue opportunities for the selected properties.
The intention is to make further UK OYO properties available to book via Sabre’s SynXis Platform, as the portfolio continues to grow and as more hotels reopen following lockdown restrictions.
