Radisson Hotel Group has expanded its presence in Spain with the signing of a new Radisson Blu brand hotel in Barcelona.
The signing is in line with Radisson’s plan announced in 2018 to open more than 20 hotels within the next five years.

Radisson Blu Hotel, Barcelona Sagrada Familia is slated to open this spring after the rebranding of the existing Hotel Barcelona 1882.
The hotel is just a 500m walk from the Sagrada Familia metro station, while the city’s main train station, Sants Barcelona, is 20-minute drive away. The city’s international airport is also a 40-minute drive from the hotel.

Other guest amenities include a fitness room, a lobby bar, a restaurant and 64 underground car parking bays.
The hotel also boasts 120m2 of meeting space and rooftop terrace and pool.
In October 2021, Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado in Spain reopened after complete renovation.
The company recently opened Radisson Collection hotels have opened in Seville and Bilbao, is expected to open the first Radisson RED lifestyle property in Madrid later this year.
