Radisson Hotel Group’s upper upscale hotel brand Radisson Blu has made its debut in Canada by opening a property in downtown Toronto.
The 157-room Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown formerly operated as the Radisson Admiral Toronto-Harbourfront.
Situated at 249 Queen’s Quay W, the features updated rooms with hardwood floors and offers views of both the cityscape as well as Lake Ontario.
It also features the Watermark Restaurant, which will be fully open in 2021 and offers the Canadian cuisine with locally sourced ingredients.
The hotel features over 12,000ft² of meeting space, a fitness centre and underground parking, as well as a 24/7 grab-and-go market.
Radisson Hotel Group chief operating officer of Americas Aly El-Bassuni said: “As the world gears up to travel again, we are accelerating the growth of the Radisson Blu brand with a series of openings starting with Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown, which also marks the brand’s entrance into Canada.
“This hotel expertly highlights the vibrant and energetic local cultures of the city while simultaneously delivering a restful stay and a memorable guest experience. We look forward to further expanding Radisson Blu in the Americas and providing our loyal guests more beautiful hotels to visit in top destinations.”
The Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown hotel has implemented the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol programme, developed in conjunction with inspection, verification, testing and certification company SGS.
Radisson Blu hotels and resorts offer a range of products and services and can be found in major cities, key airport gateways and leisure destinations.
