The first premium hotel for the Radisson Collection brand in Turkey has opened on the coast of the Aegean Sea in Bodrum.
The brand’s debut in the country follows an agreement signed between Radisson Hospitality and Turkey-based construction and hospitality company Ant Aspat Yapi ve Turizm on 19 December 2018.
The hotel is also the first for Ant Yapi in Bodrum and its fifth tourism investment in Turkey.
Radisson Collection Hotel, Bodrum has 120 luxury rooms and suites with balconies, a spa centre, fitness and meeting rooms, lounge spaces, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, and a terrace bar.
The rooms will open in two phases, with 80 in the initial phase and the remaining 40 in the second phase, 12 months later.
Of the 80 contemporary rooms, 16 are suites and all rooms are equipped with upscale amenities.
The hotel boasts three restaurants and two bars.
Guests can enjoy breakfast at the Strobilos restaurant, casual international cuisine at Café Haven, and gourmet dinner at Peru-inspired BARranco.
Spread over 1,150m2 area, the spa centre offers couple’s room equipped with indoor shower and jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, hammam, and a heated indoor pool.
Radisson Hotel Group Central & Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey area senior vice-president Yılmaz Yıldırımlar said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our first Radisson Collection Hotel in Bodrum, the so-called pearl of the Aegean coast.
“Our guests will discover a serene oasis on the turquoise shores of the Aegean Sea. With this opening, we are not only expanding our footprint in Turkey, but also strengthening our position further as a leading international hotel group in the region, with 31 hotels open and currently under development.”
Radisson Collection Hotel, Bodrum is part of Ant Yapi’s Anthaven Aspat housing project and will be managed by Access Hotel Management company.
In April this year, Radisson Hotel Group opened Palace Hotel Tallinn, a member of Radisson Individuals, in Estonia’s capital city Tallinn.
