Radisson Hotel inks multi-year technology deal with Cvent

Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has entered into a multi-year agreement with hospitality technology provider Cvent to deliver business intelligence software, dubbed Transient Business Intelligence.

Under the tie-up, RHG will leverage Cvent’s solution to evaluate and improve property-level transient performance for its 85 hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

The US-based hospitality company has been a Cvent partner for over a decade. This multi-year partnership marks the first Transient Business Intelligence deal for its EMEA hotels portfolio particularly.

The solution is expected to help RHG bolster its corporate travel segment.

RHG EMEA VP of revenue management Gianni Fede said: “We are pleased to expand our partnership with Cvent and leverage its world-class transient business intelligence solutions to expand our market share and maximise our corporate sales and marketing efforts as part of our ambitious five-year growth and development plan.

Cvent noted that its technology will enable the hospitality group to gather market and competitive intelligence to enhance its property and chain performance.

Last month, Radisson Hotel Group launched its upscale brand called Radisson in South Africa to further bolster its presence in the country.

In October this year, Radisson Hotel Group announced the opening of the new 206-room hotel in Mumbai, in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
