Two of RAK National Hotels’ properties in the UAE have secured the ‘Safeguard Assurance’ label from Bureau Veritas, which provides testing, inspection, and certification services.

RAK National Hotels is a subsidiary of RAK Hospitality Holding.

The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Al Wadi Desert and the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa are the properties that secured the certification.

RAK Hospitality Holdings CEO Alison Grinnell was quoted by Trade Arabia as saying: “In light of the wide sweeping effects of the global pandemic, it is imperative more so than ever to restore confidence in the travel experience of which our hotels in Ras Al Khaimah play a major role.”

Additionally, RAK National Hotels announced the reopening of its Rixos Bab Al Bahr hotel which implements the same strict safety levels.

Grinnell further added: “We are now focused on the safe and successful reopening of Rixos Bab Al Bahr and have adopted the same protocols and safety measures as found at our other Bureau Veritas certified properties.
