Hotel management system developer RoomRaccoon has announced a direct integration with Slowey POS’ Pixelpoint, a point-of-sale (POS) system in Ireland.

This move follows RoomRaccoon’s acquisition of iHotelligence, a sister company of Slowey POS, last month.

The integration claims to revolutionise the hotel industry by providing hoteliers with a unified tech stack, enabling the connection of onsite bars and restaurants to RoomRaccoon’s platform.

This will facilitate a frictionless guest experience, as hoteliers can now automate the process of adding restaurant sales and other ancillary charges to a guest’s room, saving time and reducing the potential for billing errors.

Hoteliers will benefit from this streamlined billing management, as the integration allows for the incorporation of customer receipts into RoomRaccoon’s property management system (PMS), enhancing billing accuracy.

Additionally, the integration improves sales reporting by enabling the extraction of POS reports directly from RoomRaccoon’s Reporting Module, offering a detailed view of sales performance.

Guests will benefit from a personalised experience, with the ability to charge purchases directly to their rooms, ensuring a hassle-free stay.

Slowey Systems CEO Keith Slowey said: “We are excited about the tremendous benefits this collaboration brings to both our clients and their guests. By enabling direct integration between our POS and RoomRaccoon, we are empowering hoteliers to enhance the overall guest experience.

“One of the primary benefits is the streamlining of operations – this integration eliminates manual processes, reducing the risk of errors and freeing up valuable time for hotel staff.”

RoomRaccoon partnerships head Stevie Reffin said: “This collaboration with Slowley POS plays a crucial role in expanding RoomRaccoon’s presence in the Irish hospitality market and reinforces our commitment to providing comprehensive solutions for hoteliers in this region.”

Last month, RoomRaccoon acquired iHotelligence, a Dublin-based property management software company, further solidifying its presence in the Irish market.

Founded in 2012, iHotelligence develops a comprehensive suite of software products for boutique and independent hotels in Ireland.
