Europe’s health spa hotel brand Ensana has partnered with Sabre Hospitality, a division of the global travel technology company Sabre, to improve wellness hospitality.

Under a multi-year agreement, Sabre Hospitality will provide the SynXis Retailing platform, enabling Ensana to offer rewards for spa treatments, wellness packages, and other amenities.

SynXis will also help Ensana to enhance distribution, retailing, and integration with property and revenue management systems.

Ensana aims to modernise its operations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East through the partnership with Sabre Hospitality, using the advanced SynXis platform.

This integration of SynXis platform will also streamline operations, increase bookings, and drive revenue growth as the hotel group pursues expansion.

Sabre Hospitality senior vice president and global managing director Frank Trampert said: “This partnership is a testament to our mission of enabling hotels to become true retailers, moving beyond traditional room sales to unlock the full potential of their offerings.

“With SynXis Retailing, Ensana Hotels can better package and sell spa and wellness experiences, creating new revenue streams while delivering exceptional value to their guests. This is the future of hospitality—where every touchpoint becomes an opportunity to engage, personalise, and grow.”

The agreement also encompasses a suite of comprehensive solutions, including the SynXis Booking Engine, Corporate Booking Tool, and GDS distribution.

These tools, along with integrations with other critical technology partners, will enable Ensana to optimise operations and provide personalised experiences to guests.

The Corporate Booking Tool offers an efficient management system for direct corporate bookings, meeting the hotel group’s need for digital distribution to key business segments.

Ensana Hotels chief executive officer Frank Halmos added: “This collaboration marks an important milestone for Ensana as we continue to expand as leaders in the health spa hospitality sector.

“Sabre’s innovative technology, particularly its retailing and corporate booking capabilities, will help us provide more personalised and flexible booking experiences, allowing us to better serve our guests and business partners.”

Earlier this week, Sabre Hospitality is set to launch SynXis Pay to simplify hotel payments, integrating more than 250 payment methods for traveller flexibility.
