Samsung Electronics has announced that its Hospitality TVs are now compatible with Apple AirPlay, offering hotel guests a seamless way to connect their iOS and iPadOS devices to in-room TVs.
This feature allows guests to stream shows and movies, play games and view photos, among others, on a larger screen.
It also provides hotel managers and operators the ability to update their management systems to enable AirPlay technology.
The feature ensures privacy and security, as it does not retain personal information, and all data about paired devices is automatically deleted upon guest checkout.
Samsung’s latest hospitality TVs come with LYNK Cloud and SmartThings Pro, which is claimed to provide enhanced connectivity.
Samsung Electronics Visual Display business executive vice president Hoon Chung said: “Samsung is committed to building a robust and connected ecosystem that enhances convenience, usability, and overall guest experience.
