International hospitality group sbe is offering on-site Covid-19 testing for guests and employees at its properties in Miami and Los Angeles.

sbe’s SLS South Beach and Hyde Midtown will immediately start the on-site PCR, rapid antigen, antibody or self-administered PCR Covid-19 testing.

SLS Brickell, SLS LUX Brickell and Mondrian Los Angeles are scheduled to begin providing the test starting from 1 February.

The company said that the on-site Covid-19 testing offers travellers a hassle-free solution to be safe and compliant while traveling during the pandemic.

Additionally, sbe’s SLS Baha Mar, which is scheduled for reopening on 4 March, will also start providing a similar service for its guests.

The group has collaborated with BlueMed Consultants in Miami and the guests can now opt for the BlueMed Consultants PCR Covid-19 test, which provides results within 24 hours.

Its guests can also opt for the rapid antigen Covid-19 test, which produces results in 10 minutes, or access the self-administered Precheck by x.labs test, which offers results in 24-72-hours.

sbe chief operating officer Chadi Farhat said: “The health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority. We decided to partner with BlueMed Consultants in Miami, a distinguished telehealth testing organisation to provide seamless Covid-19 testing upon arrival or departure in an effort to provide guests with optimal peace of mind when they stay with us.

“Our on-site Covid-19 testing allows travelers to focus more on their holiday and less about the logistics. We are also excited to provide self-administered tests for our guests via Precheck by x.labs. These services will soon be extended across our global properties.”

It has also stated that the guests at Mondrian Los Angeles can purchase self-administered test kits through Precheck by x.labs, either upon booking their stay or upon arrival to the property.

Furthermore, the company will offer the on-site Covid-19 testing to its other properties domestically and globally over the next few months.
