Hospitality technology provider SONIFI has announced the availability of its SORA interactive platform for hospitality on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.

This integration allows SORA to be deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and connects with OPERA Cloud through the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP).

This development will enhance in-room guest experiences and provide new revenue opportunities for hotels.

OCI’s advanced cloud architecture empowers hotels to deliver Wi-Fi and interactive TV experiences via SONIFI without the need for on-site interfaces, network changes, or additional licenses and adapters.

The integration with OHIP enables seamless connection with a hotel’s Oracle Cloud Property Management System, further streamlining operations and guest services.

Customers leveraging OCI will benefit from a suite of services, including compute, storage, data management, and security, as well as high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain.

SONIFI product management and user experience senior vice-president Kara Heermans said: “We’re committed to giving our customers industry-leading technology that helps them drive guest satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue. Being available to them on Oracle Cloud Marketplace is key to achieving those goals.

“SONIFI’s participation in Oracle Cloud Marketplace further extends our commitment to the Oracle community and enables customers to reap the benefits of SORA. We look forward to leveraging the power of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to help us achieve our business goals.”

SONIFI is claimed to be the largest guest technology provider in hospitality, deployed in more than a million rooms across 5,000 properties worldwide.

Last month, the company partnered with Ooma, a provider of advanced communications services.

The partnership marks SONIFI’s entry into the voice communication market, introducing cloud-based voice communication systems that aim to enhance hotel operations and the overall guest experience.
