Third-party operator Spire Hospitality has been selected to manage DoubleTree by Hilton brand hotel in Anaheim, Orange County, California, US.

The selection follows the acquisition of the hotel by real estate investment firm AWH Partners and funds managed by Apollo Global Management’s subsidiary.

The companies did not reveal financial details of the transaction.

AWH Partners co-founder and managing partner Russell Flicker said: “This acquisition, which took almost 12 months from agreement to closing and included assuming existing debt, required discipline and focus through much of the pandemic.”

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim – Orange County has 461 guestrooms, a fitness centre, and a business centre.

Additionally, the property has 31,982ft2 of indoor and outdoor event space across two floors and 20 meeting rooms in total, as well as an outdoor pool, and a tennis court.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim – Orange County also offers different dining options at three venues, namely 1Hundred, koffeeKITCHEN and Trofi Restaurant & Bar.

1Hundred is a lobby lounge and bar that offers a casual dining experience coupled with a big screen TV entertainment.

KoffeeKITCHEN is an urban kitchen that serves locally sourced produce and Starbucks coffee.

Trofi serves California cuisine, including breakfast buffets and lunch menu options. The restaurant offers fine seafood, steaks, fish, and fine California wines.

The Bordeaux Room inside the restaurant is suitable for hosting small private parties.

Furthermore, the hotel is located adjacent to the UCI Medical Center and close to the Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Disneyland / Disneyland California Adventure, and the Anaheim Convention Centre.

Flicker added: “The property’s adjacency to prominent travel destinations and the Anaheim Convention Center, one of the market’s largest demand engines, positions DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim – Orange County for success.

“We expect this property to outperform its competitors as we complete a fulsome renovation and corporate demand in the city resumes.”

In January this year, the 298-room DoubleTree by Hilton Washington, D.C. North/Gaithersburg completed a renovation programme.
