Marriott International’s hotel brand St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has opened its new property, The St. Regis Qingdao, in the north-eastern Shandong, China.

Occupying the 58th to 78th floors of the 369m tall Haitian Center, the new hotel is claimed to be the tallest in the Qingdao province, offering a panoramic view of the Yellow Sea and picturesque coastal scenes.

The St. Regis Qingdao features 233 guest rooms, including 30 luxury suites with spectacular ocean views.

Marriott International Greater China president Henry Lee said: “We are very excited to expand our luxury footprint to one of the most beautiful coastal cities in the region with the debut of the iconic St. Regis brand, bringing bespoke experiences curated for the most discerning travellers.

“The opening of The St. Regis Qingdao ushers in a new benchmark of luxury hospitality in this dynamic city and underscores our commitment to continuously grow in Eastern China.”

The new hotel features five dining outlets as well as a bar, which offer a wide range of cuisines and beverage for its guests.

Additionally, the hotel offers Butler Service, a round-the-clock anticipatory service for hotel guests.

The hotel also has more than 2,000m2 event space for gatherings and meetings and features a fitness centre, indoor infinity swimming pool, and a traditional spa.
