Skåvsjöholm, a hotel and conference centre in Sweden, has introduced outdoor trainingfacilities through a partnership with Gympak.

This includes portable equipment boxes that support functional training in the natural surroundings.

Gympak’s equipment boxes provide items such as resistance bands, yoga mats, and skipping ropes.

These kits allow visitors to engage in strength, cardio, and mobility workouts outdoors.

Situated on a private peninsula in Åkersberga, the hotel is a short drive from central Stockholm.

It features 111 rooms, meeting spaces, spa amenities, and in-house dining. Outdoor areas include walking trails, piers, and patios.

This year, Skåvsjöholm added 14 rooms in the Tallhöjden area, designed with a mix of Scandinavian and Italian influences.

Guests can also make use of the hotel’s relaxation area, which includes a sauna and hot tub.

Meals are available on-site, with the surrounding landscape offering opportunities for walking and canoeing.

Skåvsjöholm CEO Carin Sjöberg said: “Working out here, with the sea in front of you and the forest behind, is magical. This is a natural next step in our ambition to promote wellbeing and encourage movement among our guests.”

Visitors interested in exploring the area can travel to nearby Vaxholm or the Bogesund nature reserve.

Gympak CEO Jone Sølvik said: “We’re really excited to partner with Skåvsjöholm. Their focus on experience and their beautiful natural setting make this a perfect fit. Our mission is to make wellness as natural as breakfast, especially in places that truly invite movement.”

This follows Gympak’s collaboration with Quality Hotel The Box in Linköping, Sweden.
