The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, US, has upgraded its wireless infrastructure by installing a CommScope ERA Active Distributed Antenna System (DAS).

This new system by Core will offer cellular network coverage throughout the hotel’s facilities, providing guests and staff with 5G connectivity.

Known for hosting professional golf tournaments and NFL team training sessions, the hotel offers 710 rooms, including 33 suites and 96 guest and estate homes.

It claims to have hosted 28 US presidents, royalties, celebrities, and business leaders.

The Greenbrier Hotel IT director Mike Keatley said: “The Greenbrier is pleased to announce the installation of a 5G, all digital neutral host DAS at our hotel.  Our guests and staff will have a much better experience being able to stay connected on a robust cellular network. Core was a pleasure to work with and delivered a technologically advanced solution.”

The CommScope ERA Active DAS is an all-digital platform that ensures in-building coverage is optimised, enhancing voice and data services across the hotel.
