Global travel services provider Trip.com Group has entered two memoranda of understanding (MOU) with Southeast Asian hospitality brands Megaworld Hotels & Resorts (MHR) and Vinpearl.  

These partnerships align with Trip.com’s ‘Local Focus, Global Vision’ vision and aim to improve the travel experience for both inbound and domestic travellers in the region. 

The collaboration will enable Trip.com Group to increase customer visibility and support the growth of its hotel partners in Southeast Asia.  

Philippines-based MHR and Vietnamese brand Vinpearl will benefit from comprehensive marketing support provided by Trip.com Group. 

This support mainly includes exclusive package and member rates along with the availability of prioritised access on Trip.com’s platforms.  

It will also provide ‘competitive’ rates and exclusive deals to customers, with a specific target on higher-tier members.

The partnerships aim to attract international travellers and enhance the appeal of “premier accommodations” by providing optimised exposure on Trip.com platforms. 

Trip.com Group will also be responsible for promoting MHR and Vinpearl through targeted campaigns, enhanced product content, and new hotel showcases.  

These efforts are expected to boost the appeal of these top-tier accommodations and make it easier for travellers to discover and book their stays. 

Moreover, Trip.com Group will be equipping the two hotel partners with tools and data insights to adjust their offerings in real-time, allowing them to offer competitive rates that attract bookings.  

The programme will have features that will allow hotels to enhance their search result rankings based on customer reviews, booking conversion rates and price competitiveness. 

Hotel partners can also leverage targeted marketing efforts and special deals to bolster a particular hotel’s visibility to attract more guests.
