UNICO 18˚77˚ Montego Bay will be the collection’s first resort outside Mexico and its third overall, following properties in Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit.

The “adults-only, all-inclusive” resort will have 451 rooms and suites, almost all of which will include ocean views and private outdoor spa tubs.

Facilities will include nine restaurants and bars, four swimming pools and an Esencia Wellness Spa.

The resort will also have indoor and outdoor areas for meetings, weddings and other events, including a ballroom, breakout rooms and prefunction space.

Guests can access nearby golf courses, outdoor activities and cultural attractions in Montego Bay.

The property’s programme will include live music, local spirits tastings, craft workshops, chef-led food experiences, outdoor wellness activities and cultural events.

Esencia Wellness will offer hydrotherapy, movement classes, beauty services and restorative treatments. Its programme will draw on Jamaica’s outdoor lifestyle and sporting heritage.

PAM Hotels managing director and UNICO 18˚77˚ Montego Bay general manager Philipp Hofer said: “Expanding beyond Mexico marks an exciting milestone for UNICO Hotel Collection, but our philosophy remains the same.

“Every resort is shaped by the destination it calls home. Montego Bay gives us the opportunity to celebrate Jamaica’s culture, creativity, cuisine, and hospitality in a way that feels authentic to the island while staying true to the personalised experience that defines our brand.”
