Weekender, the Saratoga Springs-based travel company, has announced the re-imagining of two Adirondack Mountains hotels in New York State, US: Town House Lodge and Trailhead.

Acquired in the summer of 2022, the brand invested a year in renovations, preserving the histories of each property while injecting a fresh, outdoor-centric allure.

Town House Lodge’s retro alpine charm

Town House Lodge on Lake Placid offers guests a nod to 1970s alpine ski town glam and rustic ski lodge allure.

With 27 renovated guest rooms, a heated saltwater pool, a grilling area and a fire pit overlooking Lake Placid, the property integrates Weekender’s amenities, offering a memorable stay amid Adirondack mountain scenery.

Modern mountain lodge at Trailhead

Formerly Shaheen’s Adirondack Inn, Trailhead on Tupper Lake is Weekender’s largest property and now presents a modern mountain lodge ambience, perfect for outdoors enthusiasts.

Weekender emphasises the property’s transformation into an ideal base for adventure, with 33 rooms and a location near the Wild Centre museum.

Commitment to community integration

Weekender has stated that its expansion isn’t just about hotels, but also about becoming part of the communities it enters.

With discounted rates for locals, partnerships with local organisations such as the Wild Centre, and special packages for travelling workers, Weekender strives to create a positive impact in each region.

In addition to Town House Lodge and Trailhead, Weekender’s diverse portfolio spans Old Forge, Lake Placid, North Creek, Peterborough and Manchester.

The brand will venture into southern Vermont in 2024 with the renovation of Aspen at Manchester, showcasing its commitment to inspiring adventure in iconic destinations.

“One of our biggest differentiators is that we want to provide the setting, the inspiration, and the curated, unique experiences for them to help guests find their adventure,” Weekender founder Keir Weimer said in a statement.
