WOW Resorts and Marriott International have announced a collaboration to open a luxury resort and residential project on Al Marjan Island in the UAE, TradeArabia News Service reports.

This project, located on the island of Ras Al-Khaimah emirate, will be developed under the luxury JW Marriott brand.

Set to open in late 2026, JW Marriott Al Marjan Island Resort and JW Marriott Residences Al Marjan Island will mark WOW Resorts’ entry into Ras Al-Khaimah.

The two companies signed the collaboration in the presence of Marjan CEO Abdulla Al Abdouli, WOW Resorts co-founders Anwar Ali Aman and Bhupender ‘Bruce’ Patel and senior representatives from Marriott International.

JW Marriott Al Marjan Island Resort and JW Marriott Residences Al Marjan Island will cater to aspiring homeowners, nature enthusiasts, global travellers as well as water sports lovers.

The resort and residential development will offer 524 residences, ranging from one to four-bedroom residences and penthouses, along with 300 luxury guest rooms.

The project will also boast seven dining venues, a spa, pools and a fitness centre.
