Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has added The Bristol Panama in Panama City to its Registry Collection Hotel portfolio.

This is the second hotel to join Wyndham’s brand, Registry Collection Hotels.

Registry Collection Hotels debuted in June this year with Grand Residences Riviera Cancun as the brand’s flagship property.

The Bristol Panama, located in Panama City’s Financial district, is claimed to offer easy access to the city’s attractions such as the Old Quarter, Panama Canal, and Biomuseum.

It features 125 bedrooms and 48 executive residences, and is aimed at business and leisure travellers, corporate groups, and prominent social events.

It offers over 10,000ft2 of event space including a ballroom.

Opening its doors in 1997, this hotel is claimed to be one of the most recognised hotels in the city and pays homage to the city’s architectural heritage. It features over 50 works of modern art by renowned Latin American Artists.

It provides a full-service spa, outdoor swimming pool, and modern Panamanian fusion cuisine.

The hotel is managed by VerdeAzul Hotels, a Panamanian company operating in the hotel sector.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts president of Americas Scott LePage said: “With our prestigious new Registry Collection Hotels brand, independent luxury hoteliers can take advantage of Wyndham’s global reach and services.

“The Bristol Panama is a luxury hospitality icon in Panama City, and we’re honoured to welcome the property to the Wyndham portfolio.”
