Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has debuted its La Quinta hotel brand in Georgia with a new property in Batumi, which is located on the Black Sea coast.

The 98-room hotel is designed to cater to tourists, business travellers, and digital nomads.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA president Dimitris Manikis said: “Wyndham’s mission is simple: make hotel travel accessible for all, and that means growing where travellers are going. Georgia has become an increasingly important destination in the region, with tourism continuing to thrive year after year.

“Introducing the La Quinta by Wyndham brand here marks a meaningful step in deepening our presence in this dynamic market. We see tremendous long-term potential in Georgia and remain committed to expanding our footprint across the country as part of our broader EMEA growth strategy.”

Launched in partnership with the owner ELT Group, the La Quinta by Wyndham hotel in Batumi features king and twin rooms, as well as suites to accommodate various guest needs.

The hotel amenities include on-site parking, a 24/7 fitness centre, a wellness centre complete with a sauna, steam room, and massage room, as well as an international restaurant and a bar.

ELT Group general director and CEO Mamuka Makharadze said: “La Quinta by Wyndham Batumi marks an exciting milestone to bring a globally recognised brand to the region’s dynamic market, offering a premium hotel that international travellers already know and trust.

“Wyndham is unrivalled when it comes to technology, guest experience and its loyalty programme and shares our like-minded vision for the Batumi market, which is already emerging as a leading travel destination in Europe, drawing travellers with its rich culture, diverse landscapes and growing tourism infrastructure.”

This new opening marks Wyndham’s continued growth in Georgia, where the company operates seven hotels across five brands.

The hotel also joins a portfolio of more than 900 hotels under the La Quinta brand worldwide, which has a presence in the US and is expanding across the EMEA region, including Türkiye and the UAE.

In September 2021, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced plans to bring its Registry Collection Hotels brand to Georgia.
