Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park has announced plans to expand its footprint with a new recreational vehicle (RV) resort, Watts Bar Lake Jellystone Park, near Knoxville, Tennessee, US.

Expected to open this summer (April to October 2024) on Watts Bar Lake in Loudon, the new camp-resort is being built and will be operated by Great Escapes RV Resorts, which owns and operates eight other Jellystone Park locations.

With 263 sites, the new resort is claimed to become one of the largest family focused camping, glamping and RV resorts in Tennessee when it opens.

It will offer RV sites with luxury pull-through pads and cabins featuring hotel-style furnishings, air conditioning, linens, full bathrooms and kitchens.

The cabins will comprise Appalachian Cabin for up to eight campers and the Blue Ridge Cabin for four campers.

The resort will feature two pools, a splash pad with water slides, and an outdoor movie theatre.
