YOTEL to open first Switzerland property in Q4 2022

The hotel will provide travellers with easy access to key business and leisure destinations.

Global hospitality brand YOTEL has expanded its European footprint with the announcement of its first property in Switzerland.

The new hotel, YOTEL Geneva Lake, is slated to open in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022.

The property will feature 237 rooms, each equipped with YOTEL’s adjustable SmartBed, sensory mood lighting, and features to connect mobile devices to SMART TVs.

YOTEL Geneva Lake will boast an advanced 1,000m2 fitness centre and a mixed-use centre, called HYGGE, at the centre of the hotel.

The 2,000m2 destination will feature a 24/7 indoor and outdoor Danish-inspired restaurant, bar, and café, meeting facilities, and co-working space.

The hotel will also offer smart features including self-check-in service through the YOTEL app and mobile devices as SmartKeys.

YOTEL CEO Hubert Viriot said: “We are delighted to be adding to our overall growth strategy by opening YOTEL Geneva Lake in the metropolitan region of Lake Geneva. The hotel will offer easy access from all parts of Romandie and feature fun and futuristic design coupled with state-of-the-art F&B and ample co-working and meeting spaces.

“We are equally excited to partner with Caviar House Airport Premium – Switzerland. Challenging the status quo of traditional hospitality, YOTEL Geneva Lake will not only revolutionise travel in the region but, in our innovative spirit, offer the ultimate hospitality hub for both business and leisure travellers alike.”

YOTEL Geneva Lake is owned by Conamo and asset managed by Stoneweg.

It is strategically located to provide travellers with convenient access to Geneva airport and key business and leisure destinations, such as Geneva, Nyon, and Lausanne.
