Global hospitality group Minor Hotels has revealed plans to open a new Tivoli Hotels & Resorts property in Lecce, Italy, following a full renovation.
Scheduled to open in April 2026, the Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce will become the latest addition to the company’s portfolio. The property is developed in partnership with Gest Resort.
Gest Resort head Marisa Bleve said: “We are excited to collaborate with one of the luxury brands from a leading player like Minor Hotels, sharing the ambition to elevate this exceptional property into a landmark destination. Our goal is to attract new visitors to the city while simultaneously reshaping the local hospitality landscape.”
The hotel will offer 45 guest rooms, a ground-floor restaurant and a rooftop lounge bar with city views. On-site facilities will include a wellness centre featuring a pool, Turkish bath, treatment rooms, and gym.
The surrounding area includes several historic landmarks and is within walking distance of attractions such as the Roman Amphitheatre, Basilica di Santa Croce and Lecce Cathedral.
The location also offers access to local beaches by car and is reachable via Brindisi Airport in approximately 35 minutes or by high-speed train from other major Italian cities.

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is a luxury brand established in Lisbon in 1933, and is part of Minor Hotels.
The brand portfolio currently includes nearly 20 properties across Brazil, China, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Qatar and Spain, with further developments planned in Europe and the Middle East.
This year saw the opening of two additional Tivoli hotels in northern Portugal: Tivoli Estela Golf & Lodges and Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia.
In March, Minor Hotels announced plans to expand Tivoli’s presence in Latin America.
