Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch has entered a culinary partnership with chefs Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud, who collectively boast seven Michelin stars.

The duo will helm the hotel's signature dining establishments upon its opening in 2026.

The collaboration is a milestone in the restoration of the historic Admiralty Arch, which is being converted into a 100-key luxury hotel by Hilton, under its Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand, in partnership with investment management company Reuben Brothers.

The hotel aims to cater to the needs of international travellers and local Londoners while preserving the building's heritage.

Admiralty Arch, commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria, is positioned at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace. It offers “unrivalled” views of the palace, Nelson's Column, and Trafalgar Square.

The hotel's launch is set to further cement Waldorf Astoria's legacy, with its flagship in New York reopening later this year and new openings planned in Osaka and Costa Rica.

Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch general manager Guillaume Marly said: “With Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud both confirmed to bring new culinary concepts to the property, Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch is set to be a truly exceptional dining destination in the heart of the British capital. We look forward to unveiling more details about these exciting chef partnerships in the coming months.”

Marly was appointed as general manager in October 2024 to oversee the operations of the property.

In related news, Hilton disclosed its intention to introduce the first LXR Hotels & Resorts location in China in November 2024, expanding its luxury presence in the region alongside its Waldorf Astoria and Conrad brands.
