Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi Resort & Spa is located on Medhufushi, one of the 13 islands inhabited in Noonu Atoll. The resort is 60km from Malé International Airport and is reachable within 45 minutes by a seaplane. The transport is arranged by the resort.
Earlier known as Iru Fushi Beach and Spa Resort, the resort was brought under Hilton Worldwide management with effect from July 2009. It was earlier managed by Sun Travels & Tours, an inland tour operator in the Maldives.

Spread over 52 acres, the resort has 220 villas.
Accommodation
The resort accommodates its guests in water and beach villas and suites. The villas have been built on traditional Maldivian designs. Beach villas are located amidst tropical greenery while private beaches welcome the guests. They have a high-ceiling bedroom, a front terrace and a private courtyard with two rain showers. Water villas have private whirlpools.
The resort offers accommodation in three kinds of suites: Horizon water villas, Infinity water villas and Pool Beach villas. The secluded water villas have a glass floor giving the guests a view of waters beneath their feet.
Horizon villas are extended into the lagoon. They have private sun decks and glass floors. Infinity villas have a private lava stone pool and a deck. There is a separate dining area. Pool Beach villas have wine cellars, a courtyard bathroom and a sun deck.
All villas have bathrooms with an i-spa bath, (spa bath with an iPod provision) and rain showers.
Communications equipment in all the beach and water villas include high-speed internet access and Jacuzzis with iPod connections
Dining
The resort has six restaurants.– the Iru, Islanders Grill, Trio, Flavours, Reflections, Water’s Edge and Iru Restaurant.
Flavours, which is open for dinners, offers Asian and Far East cuisines. It is located over water. Situated over the lagoon, The Trio offers Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Asian cuisines. This is also open for dinner.
At Islander Grill, guests can savour fresh seafood for lunch and dinner. Fluid is located around the main pool of the resort and amidst tropical vegetation. It offers juices, smoothies, mocktails and cold beer
Fresh juices, lassie, flavoured ice tea, seafood and salads form the menu at the Reflections Bar at the infinity edge pool. Overlooking the lagoons, Water’s Edge offers coffee, traditional Maldivian tea and ice creams.
Iru Restaurant is located in the middle of the island. The open-sided restaurant offers buffet dining at any time of the day.
The spa at the resort has 21 personal pavilions. It offers various treatments using renowned Thalgo products. Hydrotherapy pools, sauna and fitness centre are also in the resort’s vicinity. The resort offers ayurvedic remedial practices and has designated yoga and meditation areas.
Recreation
Iru Fushi’s location makes it an ideal diving destination. The on-site diving centre, The PADI Gold Palm Sun International Diving School, offers guests scuba diving courses with experienced trained personnel. There are 30 dive sites on the premises.
The resort has a private beach where guests can enjoy jet and water skiing, paddle tennis, sailing, scuba diving, snorkelling and windsurfing. A gymnasium, an indoor pool, flood-lit tennis area and a private karaoke bar are other recreational facilities.
The infinity pool was opened recently exclusively for adult guests. Kids can play at designated pool areas. The resort also has a beauty salon, boutique and various other outlets for shopping.
