The Mykonos Grand is a five-star luxury hotel and resort on the island of Mykonos in Greece and is situated about three miles (4.2km) from Mykonos Town, on Ayios Ioannis, which is one of the island’s most famous beaches and where the film Shirley Valentine was filmed. The hotel, which is based around a series of traditional whitewashed buildings with blue shutters, has 100 designer rooms in 20 acres of landscaped gardens, which capture the essence of the traditional island culture.
Although the hotel is proud of its traditional atmosphere, it also has high-tech amenities such as complimentary Wifi internet access, and iPod and laptop rental.
