The Naples Bay Resort, which opened in February 2008, is a four-star hotel and resort located at the top end of Naples Bay, Florida, US.

The resort was developed by Antaramian Development Group of Naples Bay and Ersa Grae Corporation of Houston, Texas. Benchmark Hospitality International is the resort operator.

In July 2007 the resort gained membership to the Preferred Hotels and Resorts Group, which is an exclusive group of 165 establishments worldwide in premium locations.

Facilities at Naples Bay Resort

The hotel offers 85 rooms, 65 suites (from 849ft² to 1,459ft²) and 20 king superior rooms. There are 108 resort cottages and 30 townhouses and apartments.

The guestrooms of Naples Bay Resort are equipped with a range of amenities including flatscreen TVs, wired and wireless internet service, entertainment sound systems and custom-designed furnishings. The suites include a separate kitchen, dining and living rooms.

There is a wide range of luxury facilities at Naples Bay Resort including a marina with 97 boat slips and an international tennis centre (run by Cliff Drysdale Tennis) with six Har-Tru courts.

The resort also includes a European-style spa (with three treatment rooms, private locker rooms, a meditation area, sauna and steam rooms), fitness facilities with Technogym equipment (45 exercise stations, personal televisions, individualised programmes and full-time personal trainer), aerobic and pilates studios and a pool complex with lazy river pool, lap pool, children’s pool (Kidz Club), a sundeck and private cabanas.

Membership is available for two private clubs: the Yacht Club, which has a waterfront bar and facilities for yacht owners (laundry services, television, internet access, weather stations and showers) and the 15,000ft² Club at Naples Bay Resort. The clubs are limited to 750 members and have several exclusive premier restaurants and bars.

Naples Bay resort has a 33,000ft² retail promenade next to the marina with shops, bistros, and coffee shops. The resort also has five outdoor swimming pools.

The resort offers several fine dining restaurants including Olio, a 90-seat gourmet restaurant and bar with bay and marina views, and the Blue Water Bar and Grill, which offers lighter food and drinks throughout the day. Bonefish Grill, a popular restaurant located at the hotel offers multiple dining options on all weekdays.

Approximately 3,100ft² of meeting and conference space is available with a full range of multimedia equipment and wireless internet access. A special conference concierge service organises events and meetings.

Although the resort does not have its own golf course, there are several championship courses adjacent to the resort.

Guests (particularly those with yachts) can visit the Keewaydin Island.

Naples Bay Resort cottages

The cottages at Naples Bay Resort are available as two and three-bedroom units, featuring two bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, flatscreen television, DVD player and compact sound system and wireless internet access.

Cottages can be enrolled in a rental scheme for a period of time during the season. The rental is arranged by Benchmark Hospitality.

Naples Bay Resort contractors

The resort was designed by Architectural Network of Naples, Florida. The Kraft Construction Company, also of Naples, was responsible for the majority of the building work on the resort.

Interior design was the remit of two companies: Design Spectrum International of Miami, and Interior Design Network of Naples, Florida.
