Globally, the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 have reached over 96,269,000 with more than 2,059,000 deaths and 53,160,000 recoveries.

The US, India, and Brazil remain the top three most affected countries worldwide with decreasing trends of new daily confirmed cases observed across all.

On 19 January, the UK recorded 1,610 fatalities, its highest daily record of Covid-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The UK has the third highest number of deaths per 100,000 population worldwide, at over 135.41 deaths per 100,000 people.

Meanwhile, Israel is the country with the leading vaccination rate, having vaccinated approximately 20% of its population.

Vaccinations have reached 3% and 0.6% of US and Chinese populations, respectively.

While it was the first country to approve a vaccine, the UK has administered the vaccine to 5.3% of its population.
