Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will introduce its Sheraton brand in Georgetown, Texas, in the US with the opening of a new property in the region in 2016.
The new Sheraton Georgetown, Texas Hotel and Conference Center will be owned by a joint venture between The Novak Brothers and real estate firm Hines.

Situated within the upscale Summit at Rivery Park development, the new 224-room property will be operated by Starwood.
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts global brand leader Hoyt Harper said, "Sheraton Georgetown, Texas Hotel and Conference Center will serve as a gathering place for both travellers and local residents, offering guests all the brand’s signature amenities and services in a superb location."
Sheraton Georgetown, Texas Hotel and Conference Center will be part of the 32-acre mixed-use Summit at Rivery Park development, which includes residential townhomes, shops and office space.

The property will be close to the Southwestern University campus, the shops on the Square in Old Georgetown, Wolf Ranch Town Center, as well as the night clubs and music venues in nearby Austin.

The hotel’s lobby will include the signature Link@Sheraton experience with Microsoft that is a relaxed space with complimentary wireless broadband, while all guest rooms will feature all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, an oversized work desk, ergonomic chairs, high-speed Internet and 42-in flat panel television.
Additionally, Sheraton Georgetown, Texas Hotel and Conference Center will have around 30,000ft² of conference centre, a signature restaurant, destination bar, outdoor pool and a fitness facility featuring the brand’s health and fitness programme, Sheraton Fitness by Core Performance.
