Luxury travellers seeking a taste of French style can celebrate this summer as Le Boutique du Bristol and Eden Rock St Barths present a curated selection of fashion and lifestyle items.
The pop-up shops, operated by the Oetker Collection sister hotels, cater to the beach lifestyle while drawing inspiration from the renowned Le Boutique du Bristol in Paris.
Pop-up trend among luxury brands
The emergence of seasonal pop-up locations tailored to the travel preferences of luxury clientele has become a growing trend.
Luxury fashion houses such as Chanel and Dior have capitalised on the trend, opening exclusive spots in popular resort destinations favoured by the affluent, including Ibiza, Porto Cervo, Forte dei Marmi, Capri, Mykonos, Cortina and Bodrum.
Loewe’s Paula Ibiza, an offshoot of the Spanish heritage brand, pays homage to its namesake boutique in Ibiza, which gained fame in the 70s and 80s for its hippie-inspired floral garments.
Expanding offerings at hotels
Hotels are also re-imagining their lobby shops to offer more than just conventional items like sunscreen, shawls, and ties.
They now curate a selection of clothing, household goods and gifts, often collaborating with guest designers. Lola Rykiel partnered with Le Gaunahani in St Barths in 2022, bringing her playful Pom Pom line of stylish, easy-travelling separates.

Relaxed coastal design
The newly redesigned Le Boutique du Bristol in Paris captures the essence of a coastal retreat within the bustling Rue Faubourg du Saint-Honoré.
The space features solid oak displays, linen panelling and a neutral-toned Pinton rug, evoking a relaxed and contemporary coastal vibe.
