Hospitality group Accor has signed a management agreement with Kasada to operate the Lamantin Beach Resort & Spa managed by Accor, located 80km South of Dakar, on the seaside port of Saly in Senegal.

Lamantin Beach Resort & Spa managed by Accor features 166 rooms, a 750m2 spa and fitness centre, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a beach lounge.

It offers 60m2 MICE facilities, enabling the possibility to host seminar breaks on terraces overlooking the ocean. Events can also be hosted directly on the beach.

The property provides a host of entertainment and water activities, including a Kids Club that offers a variety of cultural and sport events.

Lamantin Beach Resort & Spa managed by Accor has joined Accor’s existing portfolio in the country, which includes Pullman Dakar Teranga, Novotel Dakar and Ibis Dakar.

The resort has been operating under Accor from the 1 October.

It will undergo a staged refurbishment plan following which it will operate under the Movenpick Hotels & Resorts brand in late 2023.

Currently, Accor operates three properties in Senegal and has a pipeline of two properties in development.
