The resort will cover more than seven acres and include 144 rooms and suites. Planned facilities include an all-day vegetarian restaurant, bar, fitness centre, lobby lounge, spa, and swimming pool.
It will also feature more than 2,000m² of indoor ballroom, conference, and event space, alongside about 6,000m² of outdoor lawns.
The development is intended to host private gatherings, destination weddings, social events, and meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE).
Accor said the signing supports its plan to expand in “high-potential” locations beyond India’s larger metropolitan markets, targeting leisure, celebrations, and business travel.
Accor India and South Asia CEO Ranju Alex said: “Rajasthan continues to offer significant opportunities for hospitality development, with demand spanning business travel, weddings, social celebrations and leisure experiences.
“Bhilwara’s strong industrial and textile economy, combined with its connectivity to key cities across the region, makes it an attractive addition to our portfolio.
“With Novotel Bhilwara Resort & Spa, we are bringing the brand’s Longevity Everyday philosophy to a destination with diverse demand potential, while offering a distinctive pure-vegetarian resort experience and extensive facilities for celebrations and business gatherings.”
The midscale hotel brand Novotel has more than 630 properties across 70 countries.
Last month, Accor signed a deal to develop 120-room Novotel Solan Kumarhatti in Himachal Pradesh.
