Omani firm Al Khaleel Group is set to open Ramada Encore by Wyndham Muscat hotel in the capital of Muscat next month.

According to local publications, the new hotel is located on the Sultan Qaboos Street and 15 minutes away from Muscat International Airport. It will aim to cater to the customers belonging to midscale business and leisure travel segments.

The Ramada Encore by Wyndham Muscat comprises 163 rooms and other amenities. It features a rooftop pool with sundeck, a fully-equipped fitness centre, restaurant and a coffee shop.

Additionally, the hotel will have a multipurpose meeting room and lobby lounge.

The guest rooms are equipped with safe deposit box, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen television, rollaway beds and a touch panel to adjust the lighting and temperature of the room.

The hotel owner Sheikh Mohammed Hilal Ali Al Khalili was quoted by the publications as saying: “It gives us great pleasure to be able to bring quality and affordable lodging to the Muscat community and we look forward to welcoming travellers to the area’s newest hotel.”

Ramada Encore by Wyndham Muscat is scheduled to commence operations from 1 August 2020.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is a hotel franchising company. Earlier this month, the company announced plans to open its first hotels in Nepal and Bhutan.

The move was part of its strategy to bolster its presence in South Asia.
